Nepal earthquake relief

When the earthquake struck Nepal in 2015, our volunteers packed relief kits with blankets, food, medicines and drinking water, took them to Nepal and handed them to affected families themselves.

Held on Sunday 3 January 2016, 10 am to 12 noon, at Chowki Sadhan, Mohalla Sadhwara, Bariya Ghat, Basli Ganj, Mirzapur. The District Magistrate of Mirzapur was chief guest and the Superintendent of Police special guest; the local press covered the camp.

Our camps raise awareness of chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure, run basic tests and help diagnose patients.

On Sunday 10 July 2016 (9 am to 3 pm) we held a free check-up camp with medicines at Hedgewar Bhawan, DAV Senior Secondary School, Shankar Nagar, Delhi, with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj and SRL Diagnostics: blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG, bone density and Pap smear tests, and consultations with specialists.

Meritorious students & school support

We encourage meritorious students and provide primary and secondary education scholarships to poor children and the girl child. We gave a primary school in Farrukhabad that lacked basic necessities books, stationery and uniforms.
